SEA Energia carries out constant automated monitoring of polluting emission levels.

The plants’ air emissions are checked by a fully automated analysis laboratory that allows constant monitoring, with readings every minute, of the levels of polluting substances: CO (carbon dioxide) and NOx (nitrogen oxides). The system is reviewed on an annual basis by ARPA, the Regional Environmental Protection Agency, which tests and certifies the analysis facility.

Further, a report is transmitted to the competent Local Healthcare Company every month, indicating the relevant month's averages per minute in order to provide a detailed database of the plant.
